“They’re just more chicken-y!”

$7.50 per bird.  Rarely found in stores, ounce for ounce their flavour can’t be beat in soups, stews, or for stock.  Put one in your freezer for those times that you need exceptionally tasty chicken noodle soup (maybe when someone catches a cold).

Our meatier, dual-purpose chickens are raised for many months (cockerels) or years (hens), accumulating lots of savoriness from weeds, vegetables, grass, fruits and other stuff they find around the farm.   Cook ’em slow and in moist heat.

Ask for these at the house; I keep them in the deep freeze.
